Inbound Receiver at Coastal Pacific Food Distributors in Fife, Washington

Job Description:

Coastal Pacific Food Distributors (CPFD) has(1)Full-Time, Inbound Receiver at our Fife WA location. Candidate must be qualified to receive, load and work in all departments as required. (Freezer, Chill, and Dry)

Rate of Pay:

• $22.00per hour
• 90 day introduction period step increase to $22.50 per hour
• Yearly step increase first 3 years at anniversary
• Yearly annual increases every January

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming freight
• Check and count product
• Enter received product into system and correct amounts as needed (Dallas and DSS)
• Communicate with Buyers and product received or not received
• Interact with delivery drivers, shipping and receiving personnel and procurement department
• Use of pallet jacks (manual and electric) and forklift
• Lift up to 60 pounds
• May require stacking/restacking of product
• Responsible for the housekeeping/sanitation of working areas
• Place correct assignments by route/destination on trailers
• Make sure Trailers are cleaned out before placing pallets on trailer
• Correctly fill out load Diagrams
• Follow all safety procedures before entering trailer (dock light ,chock, and ramp)
• Other duties as assigned
