Basic Job Functions:



The role of the Environmental Technician is to safely and efficiently work with all NSSEA teammates to coordinate, operate and maintain air pollution control systems, water systems and peripheral areas of our site. This includes environmental compliance, project participation, day to day operations and inspections, preventive maintenance & programs, troubleshooting and down day tasks alongside our maintenance and operations teams. Tasks will also include, but are not limited to, leading the safety and housekeeping efforts in all areas, safety & environmental training on and off site, basic PLC or HMI operation, and continued development of systems, process and compliance knowledge. Effective communication with teammates inside and outside of the department; along with a willingness to learn and continually improve are all key to this role.


(Grade 3) $16.84 + MS/RM Split Production Bonus
