E-commerce Marketplace Coordinator



Job Summary


The E-commerce Marketplace Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. This role involves managing product listings, site merchandising, and resolving errors to ensure a smooth customer experience. The Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, analyze performance, and optimize marketplace strategies. Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills are essential.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage product listings, including content updates, catalog management, and error resolution.
  • Support product launches by gathering content requirements, setting up listings, and addressing post-launch issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze marketplace performance, identify opportunities, and optimize strategies.
  • Maintain data integrity, resolve errors, and improve processes for efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines and address brand/IP infringement issues.
  • Develop and maintain A+ content.
  • Triage and resolve issues, including Seller Support tickets.
  • Conduct regular catalog reviews to identify low-performing products and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support weekly meetings with the marketplace team to discuss priorities, address roadblocks, and review KPIs.
  • Manage marketplace email correspondence.
  • Stay updated on marketplace requirements, trends, and product updates.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritize projects, and communicate any at-risk items to leadership.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in business, digital marketing, communications, project management, or customer insights.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, eBay, and preferably Jungle Scout, Rithum, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience working with large data sets.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
