About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have 5 years proficiency in drafting AutoCAD software and strong understanding of technical architectural and construction drawings. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about communicating design intent AND critical CRL product details for our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Produce fully detailed multi-view shop drawings from architectural drawing sets, sketches and order information provided by customers and review drawings for completeness and accuracy.


• Read, evaluate and interpret architectural drawings


• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in design requirements.


• Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation in Autodesk Vault.


• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications


• Operate in a fast-paced environment, adept at developing detailed drawings for multiple deadlines at one time


• Collaborates with the technical sales team to understand project requirements and ensure design intent is accurately reflected in all drawings


• Ability to convert concepts into detailed drawings.

Qualification Requirements: 

• 5+ years of expert level drafting in AutoCad


• Ability to read architectural plans and product specifications


• Ability to draft technical drawings accurately and efficiently


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


• Must effectively communicate with peers, sales and engineering teams


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Attention to detail: need to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors.


• Must be able to manage time effectively. Multi-tasking various jobs/projects at once is necessary.


• 2- year Degree in Drafting or Architecture


• It's highly preferred that the ideal candidate have experience working in architectural systems or building envelope industry.
