Purpose/Introduction
The basic function of this role is to develop planned job packages for maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the Operations Maintenance Coordinator. The job plans must fully satisfy the notification scope and include all material, services, resources and appropriate scheduling logic between individual operations or tasks. This position must ensure that sufficient amount of work is planned to satisfy production needs.
Responsibilities
Provides support to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely and incident-free
Maintains maintenance job plans and estimates using SAP
Coordinates the development and implementation of effective job plans
Manages the notification and work order backlog for assigned area
Ensures maintenance efforts focus on quality repairs and improved plant reliability
Plans and coordinates work via Operations Maintenance Work Process (OMWP)
Initiates safe work permitting activities
Integrates reliability strategies into maintenance work processes
Proactively works with peers to improve maintenance efforts
Implements methods to improve maintenance productivity and effectiveness

Effectively coordinates group meetings
Interfaces with the procurement department to ensure a seamless contract service
Creates BOMs and PM plans
Creates job packets, job plans, and technical documentation, feedback forms, and job kits
Creates purchase requisitions and reservations for materials, equipment, or services
Builds and updates task lists for recurring jobs
Revises task lists from job feedback forms
Follows direction from operations, maintenance, and technician managers
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
At least 5 years of maintenance field experience (Instrument and electrical work) in a chemical/refining environment
Experience coordinating the execution of the maintenance job plans
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting engineering drawings, equipment drawings, and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs)
3 Years of experience using SAP planning and scheduling tools
