Summary:
The Lead Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes and activities for software development projects with heavy focus on D365 F&O solution. This role involves developing test strategies, hands-on participation, ensuring the successful execution of testing procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and tools
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for various software projects
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and establish testing timelines
- As a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst, you will design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases to ensure software functionality, performance, and security
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; ensure timely resolution of issues
- Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and testing processes
- Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices within the QA team
- Conduct regular QA team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA tools and methodologies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or QA Lead in a software development environment
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail), and best practices
- Experience in automated testing frameworks and tools is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
