Accounting Supervisor at Lakeside Book Company in Kendallville, Indiana

Job Description:

Work Hours: Standard Hours (Monday - Friday)
Location: Onsite, Kendallville IN (Hybrid)
Salary: Base salary $75,000- $85,000

As our Accounting Supervisor, you will:

• Gather, analyze, and prepare supporting documentation for operating forecasts
• Provide financial information and insights as needed
• Analyze financial reports, produce activity statements, and monitor accounts
• Prepare and analyze various accounting statements and reports
• Analyze financial reports and make recommendations regarding expenditures and revenues
• Manage company spending and forecasting processes
• Identify and analyze opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency and improvement
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations, and plants
• Conduct in-depth, moderately complex technical analysis to assess current financial performance

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, with knowledge of relevant regulations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience in cost accounting (preferred)
• Experience collaborating with management and providing solutions
• Proficient in accounting systems and financial reporting, especially Excel; experience with Essbase and SAP is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
