Job Description:

Our client, a well-established non-profit organization, is seeking to hire a Controller. This newly created role is a result of the organization's growth and provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership. Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, ensuring compliance with GAAP and providing insights for strategic decision-making.


• Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes.


• Establish and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing annual audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• CPA required


• Strong knowledge of GAAP, non-profit accounting standards, and grants management, with proficiency in accounting software


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
