An excellent client of ours located in Wilmington, DE is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team!



Qualifications



Prior AP processing experience


HS Diploma


Proficient in MS Excel



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Invoice processing: Receive invoices, verify their authenticity, approve them, and settle the payment


• Reconciling accounts: Ensure accounts are accurate and reconciled


• Maintaining vendor relationships: Build trust with vendors to help with situations like needing supplies or delaying a due date


• Managing cash flow: Ensure compliance with payment terms and financial regulations


• Analyzing accounts: Analyze accounts on a regular basis to ensure payment accuracy


• Collaborating with other departments: Work with other departments to perform accounting audits


• Researching and approving new vendors: Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts
