Job Description:

Innova Solutions has a client who is immediately hiring for a .NET Developer III

Position type: 6 months

Duration: contract

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN


Looking for a web developer with BOTH front end (Angular) and back end (C#) experience - who is capable of and willing to work on a VB.NET WinForms application as well. Interviewing preference will be given to local candidates - local candidates will need to come into the office at least one day per week (currently Tuesdays)


DEVELOPER III

  • Responsible for writing software programs to maintain and control computer systems, software for operating systems, networked systems, or database systems.

  • Responsible for creating the software platform and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made. degree in computer science relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from business systems analysis through requirements gathering and functional specification.

  • Ability to troubleshoot code and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

  • Knowledge of front end Angular, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS.

  • Modify existing software to correct errors to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance

  • Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software.

  • Develop specifications and performance requirements. Handling style sheet clean up.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS. OR equivalent industry experience
    • 3+ years of experience with Angular Version 8 or above
    • 3+ years of experience with HTML5 and Bootstrap
    • 3+ years of experience with consuming web services and web api
    • 3+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS and experience with IIS authentication schemes
    • 3+ years of experience with SQL development; proven ability to read and write complex SQL queries
    • 2+ years of experience with Web API, and MVC software architecture patterns.
    • 2+ years with Microsoft Azure DevOps
    • 2+ years of experience programming in C#.Net and/or VB.Net.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, GIT and Azure DevOps
    • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of technical and non-technical skills sets (i.e. Developers, Project Managers and internal Customers)
    • Proven ability to write complex code; including the planning of work from initiation through implementation while demonstrating the ability to meet project completion dates with acceptable levels of supporting documentation and software quality
    • Experience with Gherkin and a Cucumber implementation, preferably SpecFlow

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Exposure to SharePoint and related content management technologies.
    • Experience performance tuning applications.
    • Exposure to diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Self-starter, strong desire to learn, contribute and think creatively

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $60 - $65/hr w2
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
