Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Overarching
Identify and clearly communicate the customer value of JBT products to customers and sales teams
Ensure customer requirements and needs are fully understood and accurately translated into product requirements
Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of the JBT products which they are responsible for incl. their relationship to other product lines
Train account managers on new products and features to ensure they are well equipped to consult customers
Prepare & deliver technical presentations & demonstrations to customers
Sales Process:
Support of Account Manager and Business Development Manager in responding to technical queries and providing detailed product knowledge (esp. regarding price estimation)
Run tests with customers; estimate additional cost and effort in cases of complex quotes (adaptations, non-standard installation)
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications and project timelines meet customer expectations
Conduct site visits jointly with responsible account manager for equipment layout creation and quote completion
Qualifications
Required Capabilities:
Qualifications
5+ years experience in technical sales support role, engineering, or related field
Experience in food processing or industrial goods manufacturing industries
Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, business)
Technical knowledge and expertise account planning
Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of JBT products and their applications in the industry
Expert knowledge of the industry's technical standards and regulations
Deep understanding of the customer's product requirements
Innovation-driven mentality with strong motivation to meet (or exceed) customer expectations through optimal technical solution delivery
Ability to think strategically and holistically, identifying long-term opportunities and focusing on value creation for the customer
