This position sits in our Enterprise Risk & Facilities (ERF) team which is driving global standardization, efficiency, and excellence in our core areas of Facilities, Real Estate, Enterprise Risk, Global Value Stream Business Continuity, Executive Services, and Physical Security.

Are you a passionate, dedicated, and motivated project management mind looking for a new challenge? As the Sr. Business Process Project Management Specialist, you will manage a variety of projects to deliver on key business strategies and initiatives.

This position will be a hybrid role and expected onsite 4 days a week in Fridley, MN.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Facilitate meetings, monitor progress and report outs of key initiatives including annual deployment plans.

  • Assist with identifying, developing, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs

  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects and initiatives

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations

  • Prepare reports and report outs & accountability utilizing dashboards, Excel, etc.

  • Working in various software systems such as Planisware, Ariba, Power Bi, SharePoint

  • Organize team meetings, ensuring follow up on action items

  • Facilitate monthly operating reviews and quarterly business reviews with key business stakeholders

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.


  • May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Nice to Have: Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following skills, experiences, and certifications.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, general software applications

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a PMO role.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$88,800.00 - $133,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
