A DAY IN THE LIFE



As a key member of the Montrose team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including.




  • Facilitates payables for their assigned locations using Company's ERP




  • Creation of purchase requests and receipt of materials in the Company's ERP system




  • Initiates vendor creation process




  • Reviews requests for payment to ensure all required supporting documentation is provided; Communicates with vendors and others to resolve problems and gather missing documentation so items can be approved and processed for payment on a timely basis.




  • Initiates requests for creation of vendor items in Company's ERP(i.e. Purchase Orders)




  • Creates purchase requests as needed and submits for proper approval




  • Codes vendor bills and coordinates vendor bill approval as needed using the Company's ERP system.




  • Performs item receiving in the Company's ERP system




  • Responds to inquiries from vendors, personnel and others, regarding pending or paid items.




  • Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies




  • Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.


Position Qualifications:


  • Previous experience with ERP systems required; knowledge of Workday is a plus.


  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles required. (GAAP knowledge).


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.


  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels ofpersonnel/management.


  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.


  • Solid organization and time/project management skills.


  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.


  • Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated).
