Summary:

In this role, you will be working at the Terminal Access Center assisting drivers with Port access, troubleshooting any issues that may arise from the Clean Truck Program, assisting with informational outreach, and providing support for compliance verification.

Your Role:

Providing administrative support, including but not limited to data entry, filing, and general record keeping. In addition to administrative support, the role will include customer service. The Terminal Access Center is a service providing help and support to drivers and trucking companies as a liaison for both the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required, associate's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and software including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word).
• Communications with Spanish speaking individuals is likely, therefore, bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Must be able to walk to and from building to drivers to issue stickers in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of the following is helpful but not required: drayage and trucking industries, commercial truck models and engines, zero-emission technologies for heavy-duty vehicles/off-road equipment and landscaping equipment, electric charging infrastructure, air quality standards and regulations.
• May need a Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
