Your Responsibilities:


In this role, you will manage banking and payment tool relationships and transactions, review bank reconciliations, and prepare cash/bank-related reports for both the USA and Canada. You will work closely with multiple departments to prepare weekly payment lists for freelancers, remote employees, and vendors, and oversee Accounts Payable Reconciliation. Additionally, you will generate monthly client invoices, post them to the financial system, and review accounts receivable reconciliations. Your responsibilities also include preparing month-end GL entries, reconciliations, schedules, financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and various projects.


What You Need to Succeed:


To succeed in this role, you need a relevant degree and completion or near completion of a CPA designation, along with 4-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting. Strong month-end close experience and financial reporting and corporate tax filing experience are required. You should be able to work remotely with minimal supervision, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and possess effective verbal, listening, and communication skills. Being self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Knowledge of Xero and experience with Canadian accounting are highly desirable.
