Location
Orthopedic Walk in is open 7 days per week with the goal of urgently treating acute orthopedic injuries. Our aim is to have urgent same day visits for patients, provide appropriate evaluation and treatment (including radiology), and establish needed follow up care during the visit. We will have a combination of in-person and virtual visits.
We are located at 4 Centennial Drive in Peabody, MA 01960.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Overview
The Athletic Trainer works under the direct supervision and guidance of a healthcare provider, assisting with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients during office visits. This role involves performing clinical tasks delegated by the provider, in alignment with the Athletic Trainer's training and skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in patient evaluations and treatments as directed by the provider.
- Ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the office.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organized patient care areas.
- Promoting a positive patient experience through professional, friendly interactions.

Required
- Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training/Sports Medicine Program.
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Preferred
- One year of ATC/physician extender experience.
- In addition to the required degree, an Associates Degree or completion of a Medical Assistant program. Nursing Assistant certification or other healthcare preparation will be considered.
- Certification by the NATA as a Certified Athletic Trainer
