USB is seeking a part-time Product Placement Specialist for our Marketing department—this role will specialize in placing Shock Doctor, McDavid and Cutters products in the hands of elite athletes and reporting on the resulting usage and content. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The part-time Product Placement Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the communication, ordering and placement of key Shock Doctor, McDavid and Cutters products to elite, amateur, and professional athletes in tackle football, flag football, basketball, hockey, baseball and others. This includes owning communication with athletes, along with tracking budget, product orders, and fulfillment of product orders with the athletes. The Product Placement Specialist will also report on placement of products via a bi-weekly report that includes visual content of athletes using the product.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for communicating with athletes and identifying trends, as well as interest in a career in digital marketing and/or social media. This role is key in influencing USB’s marketing strategy. And, of course, love of sports is a major plus.

Candidate must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with ability to: be in a stationary position 50% of the time; occasionally move about inside the office to access fine cabinets, office machinery (such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.); constantly operate a computer; occasionally ascend/descend stairs; constantly position self to maintain files in file cabinets; the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations; the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feed of the observer); and frequently move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across office for various needs. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions if projects/opportunities arise. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
