The AIM-AHEAD Consortium Regulatory Compliance Office (RCO) is supported by extramural grants and awards from local, state, and national funding agencies. The mission of AIM-AHEAD is to establish mutually beneficial and coordinated partnerships to increase the participation and representation of researchers and communities currently underrepresented in the development of AI/ML models. The RCO supports AIM-AHEAD stakeholders in a variety of ways and is seeking a candidate for the position of Regulatory Compliance Assistant (RCA). The RCA will provide support to the RCO and will assist the Director, Co-Directors, and Regulatory Compliance Manager (RCM) in the activities of AIM-AHEAD's RCO.
Daily Operations
Serve as a member of the AIM-AHEAD RCO and provides support to the Director/Co-Directors and RCM on all activities
Assist in management of day-to-day RCO functions
Prepare agendas, emails, deliverables, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software
Schedule and attend meetings to record minutes
File, manage, and retrieve documents, records, and reports
Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
Schedule and attend meetings to record minutes
Demonstrate commitment to ethical conduct and preserve confidentiality of sensitive information, written and oral
Manage projects within short deadlines and assist in the maintenance of complex records utilizing judgement, tact, and resourcefulness
Assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats
Develop and maintain positive, professional working relationships within the RCO team and AIM-AHEAD stakeholders
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background/experience in human subjects research, regulatory compliance in human subjects research, and/or HIPAA Preferred.
Interest in regulatory compliance profession along with willingness to learn and receive training in required skills.
