Major/Essential Functions
Responsible to meet all procurement and documentation policy and procedures as set forth by TTUHSC, Managed Health Care.
Maintains accurate records of supplies requested, procured as well as reconciled invoices, and distributed as deemed appropriate by supervisor(s).
Responsible for acquisition and / or purchasing of medical materials while considering best price, quality, availability and reliability when purchasing products. Billing, and/or service documentation and questions to be forwarded to the accounting department or supervisor as appropriate.
Maintains adequate supply of stock items to ensure availability at all times including its employees and all of its activities; documenting, ordering, receiving, checking, stocking, and distributing supplies and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
Aids in provision of a daily courier service between Health Care System sites and vendors as necessary.
Research and check resources to obtain best pricing, availability and reliability of products. Assist in equipment inventory monitoring and reconciliation as required by ACA Standards, TTUHSC Policy and/or supervisor.
Develop and implement policies for general supply request and special orders
