Job Description:

Vanton Pump & Equipment Corp., the leader in the manufacture of thermoplastic pumps, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering department. For more than 75 years Vanton Pump has been the innovative leader in the design and manufacture of non-metallic pumps. Located in New Jersey, Vanton Pump offers a challenging position for an experienced, talented individual with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Design and review of existing products to improve performance and reliability

- Provide engineering and technical support to sales department

- Hands-on R & D of new products

- Supervise performance testing of pumps and generate reports of test results

Requirements / Experience:

- Minimum BSME

- Minimum 5 years related experience

- Working knowledge of hydraulics would be beneficial

- Mechanical aptitude (hands on assembly skills)

- Product/manufacturing support

- Range of mechanical component knowledge

- Ability to manage multiple projects

- Experience working on cross-functional teams for the introduction of new products

- Strong planning and organizational skills are necessary, as well as proven ability to communicate well through presentation and written media
