Senior Manager, Partner Marketing

Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates is looking for a Head of Marketing to play a meaningful role in evolving our business and redefining the travel industry.

In this role, you will lead a team that empowers each SPA business unit with tailored, strategic marketing solutions that acquire, onboard, activate, grow and retain partners at scale. You will be responsible for leveraging deep market and partner insights, and creative excellence, to uniquely position SPA's products and services across all forms of media, from earned, to owned, to paid.

This partner-and business-facing role encompasses B2B, B2C, and B2B2C marketing, specifically within the affiliate industry. Partners will range from strategic financial institutions to individual creators.

This role is well-suited for results-oriented and highly collaborative self-starters who are adept at creating innovative solutions that enhance our test and learn approach to Marketing, and who want to work in a dynamic, fast-moving part of the Expedia Group.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team to create and execute a marketing strategy to effectively and efficiently acquire, onboard, activate, grow, and retain loyal SPA partners.
  • Build and implement the ideal martech and adtech stack for SPA from the ground up, then efficiently use and govern these platforms as external channels for SPA.
  • Own the representation and branding of EG partnerships within the market, especially via owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Consistently test and learn via partner-marketing campaigns with an aim to prioritise, automate, and scale successes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create campaigns related to merchandising, product adoption, and affiliate growth.
  • Manage and balance a marketing budget between acquisition, growth, and research activities whilst providing CAC, ROAS, and LTV analyses to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leverage content, growth, email, digital, and product marketing skills to train and upskill your team in these disciplines.
Who you are:

  • You are an experienced, hands-on generalist marketing leader with strong business acumen and ideally a business degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • You have 8+ years of experience marketing within B2B2C business models; separate B2B and B2C experiences are a plus.
  • You have worked within the affiliate marketing and/or creator space for 5+ years.
  • Experience in the travel, OTA, and tech industry is a plus.
  • You have advanced skills with Marketo, GA4, AEM, and Zendesk, adtech such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and design tools such as Knak, Taxi, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Data analysis and engineering familiarity is preferred, e.g. SQL and Python.
  • HTML and CSS web and email development skills are preferred.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
