Production Designer at Horizontal Talent in Walnut Creek, California

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a versatile Production Designer to join their dynamic team. This role is a remote, part-time contract position, offering 20 hours per week with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for creativity, and a robust blend of conceptual design and production art skills across packaging, social media, digital, and print.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and update production packaging files, making necessary design and text adjustments
- Manage artwork submissions, track approvals, and make revisions as needed
- Create and update in-store shopper marketing assets (signage, coupons, posters, displays, coupons, etc.)
- Design creative digital assets for social media, retailer product pages, and other online platforms
- Perform image retouching and clean-up, as well as creating digital renders and mockups for sales presentations
- Creative Mindset: Ability to elevate design work and provide creative direction when needed

Required Professional Experience:

- 5+ years of professional experience as a Production Designer
- CPG packaging production experience
- In-store marketing asset production experience
- Digital Production experience (social media, eCommerce, etc.)
- Previous experience working in a corporate, fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to interpret strategic intent and execute projects on time and within specifications
- Health & Wellness brand experience a plus
