Location: Lowell, MA

Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client in Lowell, MA is currently seeking a Director of Social Services for an immediate need!


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• The primary purpose of this role is to assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of our facility's Social Services Department.


• As a Director of Social Services, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
  
  

Administrative Duties:

• Assist in developing and administering department policies and procedures.


• Review policies/procedures annually and recommend changes.


• Complete required documentation, forms, and reports.


• Assist in arranging transportation for residents when necessary.


• Provide information on financial assistance programs to residents/families.


• Assist in reviewing and updating job descriptions annually.


• Delegate authority and make recommendations to the Director.


• Standardize methods and provide solutions for residents' social/practical needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• The job requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, at least 1 year of supervised experience in healthcare, and Massachusetts Licensure
