Description: Our client is currently seeking a IT Director
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Job Type: 6-month Contract to Hire


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with the company's goals.


• Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team.


• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers.


• Security & Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems. Implement best practices for data protection and disaster recovery.


• Budget Management: Manage the IT infrastructure budget, including forecasting and cost control.


• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.


• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of IT infrastructure.


• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.


• Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution.


• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.


• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in network management, server administration, virtualization, and cloud technologies. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices.


• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.
