Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Implementation Consultant, EDI/ERP to join our Microsoft Market Team; in this role, you will manage support instances requiring partner involvement, serving as the escalation point between the client and the SPS partner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform post-sale technical implementation, including installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration, while managing project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Conduct complex tasks independently with minimal supervision, using wide latitude for judgment, and consult with clients to understand their business objectives and operational needs.
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed of project progress, ensuring effective communication and resolution of scheduling issues.
  • Maintain a high level of industry-specific business knowledge by staying current with emerging products and technical updates.
  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, understand clients' business objectives and goals and anticipate needs of customer
  • Provide and review solution design and configuration
  • Handle complex EDI translations
  • Must exhibit a curious expert mindset

Location:

This role is either remote or hybrid out of one of our offices, based on the candidate’s location. For hybrid office locations, we Succeed Together though in-person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree, including 3+ years in account management, relationship management, or product management.
  • Prior experience with third parties, consultants, VARs, and application providers is desired.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially over the phone, with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task, and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet browsers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft ERPs (Navision, Great Plains, F&O, Business Central, etc) is strongly preferred
  • Strong SQL and query skills
  • History of working with adapter tools such as DMEDI or Vantage Point
  • Knowledge of EDI standards and Order to Cash EDI documents (810, 850, 856, 940, 945)
  • Industry experience in Retail, heavy equipment, automotive, supply chain is desirable
  • Comfortable using humor to build rapport and foster a collaborative team culture
  • Consulting experience in common industry standard business practices, such as ERP or Ecommerce
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Work without supervision with extensive latitude for independent judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiarity with XML required
  • Excellent communication skills
