Purpose of Job:



Sales associates provide top level customer service to every customer that we encounter. Our top priority at Interstate All Battery Center is to ensure that customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. This includes:

• Greeting every customer with a smile.


• Providing timely, friendly and accurate service.


• Actively seeking out customers and asking open ended questions.


• Suggesting relevant/ related products and accessories to every customer.


• Being knowledgeable about the products we are selling.


• Making timely and safe deliveries to commercial customers.


• Generating commercial leads while out on deliveries and over the phone.


• Ensuring the sales floor is cleaned and stocked throughout the day.

Work Environment:

• Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and frequent lifting and carrying of between 50-70 pounds.


• Work involves some irregularities and difficulties, repetitive and varied tasks.


• Daily delivery driving duties.


• The retail store setting is frequently exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, outdoor temperature extremes, dampness and battery acid as is normal to the environment in this business.


• Stress associated with workplace pressure and the retail environment.
