Length: 12+ months + extensions Location: San Diego (Hybrid: 3x per week on site)
EV Project Manager Requirements:
2+ years of experience in project management roles for large-scale major projects ($3-5MIL)
Strong understanding of EV infrastructure
Understand different types of EV charging, components and installation requirements
Basic understanding of electrical systems, wires, safety standards, anything related to EV charging
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
Ability to create and give presentations during stakeholder meetings
Must possess initiative, decision-making skills and problem-solving abilities
Experience MS Projects and MS suite (word, PPT and excel skills)
Must have the ability to identify issues, analyze data, develop, recommend, and implement solutions - this role is very innovation focused.
Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related experience
EV Project Manager Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of fleet electrification initiative. This includes but is not limited to project scoping, timelines, cost estimates and design.
Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Provide direction to contractors, consultants, and project team. Working closely with civil, construction and engineering/design groups.
Analyze and determine regulatory impacts and requirements of the project
Responsible for providing team/project goals and evaluating performance
Research and evaluate available contractors and consultants
Prepare, negotiate and approve or recommend approval of contracts and negotiate contract changes.
Manage related workforce planning, budget analysis, and prepare budget forecast
Perform other PM duties as assigned
