Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a Product Developer who designs, builds and supports learning systems application development and 3rd party product integrations. The Software Developer is required to provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Information Technology (IT) department.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, document, and implement high quality learning system applications on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents
Analyze performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies
Develop and adhere to development standards that allow for the maintainability of code in a manner that supports team development
Participate in the modification of software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth
Participate in code reviews and meetings as necessary
Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects
Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field, or equivalent work experience
4+ years of high-tech industry, product engineering and/or IT work experience
Experience in Perl, preferred
Experience with Apache, preferred
Experience in Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics, preferred
Experience in Education industry or with education data, preferred
Experience with git version control
3-5 years of experience:
Developing in Node.js (TypeScript, Express)
Developing in Angular
Developing in React, preferred
MySQL and/or other relational database experience
MongoDB and/or other NoSQL database experience
Unix experience, RedHat Linux (or derivatives), preferred
Developing and delivering custom business computer applications, preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
