RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's Healthcare client in Seattle, WA is adding a Contract Technical Program Manager to an existing Datawarehouse migration to Azure/Snowflake project that is in its 3rd year. The current team is approximately 20 people, made up of consultants (onshore and offshore) and full-time staff, all technical staff: ETL Developers, SQL QA Test Engineers, Business Analysts.

Summary:
You will be responsible for leading the technical team's cloud data warehouse efforts, including data cleaning, technical programming, roadmap development, and milestone tracking, on Snowflake and Azure platforms. Also, developer productivity and velocity will be a focus for this TPM.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Data Engineering Manager and Technical Lead, supporting, and managing this cloud DW initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals and data strategies


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA specialists, to prioritize enhancements and deliverables


• Lead and manage Sprints and daily team scrums. Jira/Confluence


• Clean, assemble, and manage data within cloud-based environments, using platforms like Snowflake and Azure


• Provide continual engagement with the technical team, ensuring smooth workflow, communication of defects, and ongoing project alignment


• Oversee the lifecycle of DW enhancements, ensuring efficient workflow management from start to finish

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years of experience in technical program/project management or a related field, ideally within enterprise or healthcare environments


• Hands-on experience working with cloud data warehouses, such as Snowflake, Azure, and other cloud database solutions; Prefer candidates who come from a development background


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders


• Expertise in Azure or AWS cloud platforms, data warehouses, and cloud architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the healthcare industry or large-scale enterprise environments


• Knowledge of SQL, data governance, and cloud security best practices


• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, DevOps environments, and related tools


• Experience with data governance, data compliance, and working within highly regulated environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
