Job Description:

Helena area bell choir seeks new director. The Bells of Covenant, one of Montanas premier bell choirs, is seeking a new director. The choir is ecumenical in makeup, but practices and plays primarily at Covenant United Methodist Church in Helena. This position is part time. Practices are weekly on Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm, lasting approximately 1 1//2 hours, and the choir plays for the 10am Sunday Morning Service on the second Sunday of the month. Occasional extra practices are required as necessary. In addition, there is an annual Christmas Concert in December, and regional Mountain West Bell Festival in April. The bells range over 4 octaves, plus chimes. The choir consists of approximately 12 ringers. Directing experience is required, and bell choir directing experience is desired but not necessary.
