Job Description:

PRECITECH is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and career-minded individual to serve as our Machine Shop Supervisor at our Keene, NH, location. This highly visible position will provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the machine shop's operation. The ideal candidate is a Leader with a track record of results and the potential to grow into other positions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• The Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for leading, mentoring a team of machinists and operators, providing guidance, training and performance evaluations.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate machining activities to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ensure all products meet quality specifications and implement quality control measures to reduce defects.
• Identify and implement process improves to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures and conducting regular safety training.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of machines and tools, ensuring optimal operational performance.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Work closely with engineering, production planning, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, team performance and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate degree in machining, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a machine shop environment, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in operating various machine shop equipment (CNC, Lathes, Mills, etc.) and understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make decisions quickly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
• High motivation to learn and develop self.
