About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will manage payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with payroll systems, and the ability to handle sensitive data confidentially.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payrolls for 100-200 employees.
- Review and ensure accuracy of timesheets, attendance records, and deductions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Prepare reports for accounting and management as needed.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for accurate data management.
- Assist with year-end tasks, such as W-2 processing and audits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience in house full cycle.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
