Veterans United Home Loans is seeking an Accountant, who will report to the Controller and work closely with other members of the Accounting team. As an Accountant, you assist the Financial Reporting department with general ledger entries, allocations, transaction review, reconciliations, financial statement write-ups, reporting, audits, tax matters, and other special projects for Veterans United and its affiliates.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Complete tasks for financial close process, including accruals, allocations, general journal entries, and reconciliations.
Process accounting transactions for subsidiary companies, which will include but is not limited to daily transactions and monthly close process.
Analyze general ledger accounts and review team closing tasks for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with various tax filing requirements and government and industry reporting requirements.
Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company
Regular and predictable attendance
