Position Overview:
Lead the Process Engineering Group, setting and achieving targets for optimal results. Be a key player in driving product and technological advancements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Reliability: Manage trial activities and maintain processes in compliance with Company, QAKE, and ISO standards. Ensure SOCs are current.
Customer Collaboration: Define and translate customer product requirements into controllable process parameters. Assess and improve company's process capabilities to meet customer specifications.
Equipment Upgrades: Work closely with the Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, Plant Director, and manufacturing teams to recommend and justify equipment upgrades or modifications.
Training: Deliver training in statistical methods, process capability studies, and control chart analysis to improve equipment utilization and product process optimization.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 7 years in manufacturing, with a preference for plastic manufacturing. At least 3 years in a Process Engineering role, with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
Skills: Strong understanding of chemical properties within the plastic industry. Proven problem-solving skills and experience leading continuous improvement teams.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedure manuals. Proficiency in writing technical reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures related to process operations.
Reasoning Ability: Practical problem-solving skills in variable situations. Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting, frequent bending, stooping, stretching; manual dexterity; distinguish letters; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Equipment: Basic understanding of plastic product machinery and office equipment like computers, calculators, telephones, copiers, and fax machines.
Work Environment:
Office and manufacturing settings with frequent customer interactions.
