Job Summary
Substance Use Intervention Services plays a crucial role in promoting student well-being through inclusive, respectful, and supportive programs. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized administrative professional to support the department in its mission. Department-Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately completing bursar billing for Substance Use Intervention Services.
Maintains accurate records of student participation, interventions, and outcomes.
Ensures all records comply with university policies on confidentiality and data security.
Assists in organizing and coordinating workshops, educational seminars, and other events related to substance use awareness and intervention programs.
Provides front-line support for students seeking assistance, offering information on available resources, and making appropriate referrals as needed.
General Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to a department or group of professionals, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
Utilizes business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.; compiles data for expense and statistical reports.
Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email promptly, courteously, and accurately.
Schedules and confirms appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements; tracks expenses.
Participates in the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices for the organization.
May perform other duties related to maintaining an internal website and/or working with social media.

Strong working knowledge of office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and ability to quickly learn university-specific software for administrative tasks, data management, and billing.
Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
A strong focus on providing excellent service to students, staff, and campus partners, ensuring all interactions are respectful, prompt, and supportive.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
