This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Software Developer in DevOps, you will be responsible for:


  • Working within a team to write, test, debug and peer review code/scripts for the installation and configuration of PET/CT systems.

  • Assisting with installation support.

  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation.

  • Building and maintaining software build, packaging, and test activities for software developers.

  • Interfacing with internal partners including systems engineering, product management, project management and hardware.

  • Interfacing with external business partners including those in Germany, China and India.

  • Engaging in technical discussions and voicing opinions with others.

  • Knowledge of system and software development best practices and methodologies.

  • Passion for software development and DevOps.

  • Interest in Medical Device software.

  • Initiative to find out what PET/CT systems are and self-learn about them.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:




  • Experience with Windows Batch and Powershell scripting.

  • Experience with source control management and continuous integration (TFS, Git)

  • Experience with Scrum/ Agile Development (desired).

  • Working knowledge of at least one object oriented programming language (ideally C#) is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking, with good listening, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • High degree of professionalism and self-motivation.

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ with years of professional software development experience.

  • Or

  • MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 1+ with years of professional software development experience.
