The Early Head Start/Head Start Data Entry Associate will collect program, child, and family related data from staff, program partners, child care centers, and family child care providers.
Ensures that data collected and submitted from Early Head Start and Head Start programs is entered into Child Plus accurately and timely. Enter other necessary program data into the system. Produce required reports to verify accuracy based upon data entered into the computer system. Correct and resolve errors/problems related to the Child Plus system. Develop respectful, positive, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with staff and community/university partners. Provide accurate and timely documentation, abide by ethical standards of practice, attend meetings and adhere to professional demeanor, and other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years prior experience in a data entry position. Experience with monitoring the accuracy of data being entered.
Child Plus experience preferred. reliable attendance record. Ability to type 50 WPM with high accuracy and to work well under pressure and deadlines. Excellent computer skills required. Some travel may be required for training. Must be able to pass a pre-employment and/or periodic physical examination, annual TB Skin test and complete a FBI/BCI background check.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS Frequent sitting. Use of computer and other office equipment.
Repetitive use of hands Reaching and turning Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; light lifting of supplies and materials; Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to handle diverse work challenges on a daily basis.
