STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
SALARY RANGE: $58,916 - $63,499.11 per year
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed
within the range
based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning Assistant, through collaboration with the General Studies Faculty, will augment the delivery of instruction by providing direct support to learners for increased success and persistence in their courses. In partnership with faculty, the Learning Assistant will develop informational materials, provide access to resources, and facilitate weekly workshops that provide enhanced understanding of course content through the reinforcement of course concepts. The Learning Assistant will facilitate the development of study skills and assist learners in understanding their individual learning style. This Academic Coach will focus on math related courses.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Math or related area.
Experience: A minimum of two years related experience. Experience working with a diverse student population preferred.
