JOB DESCRIPTION

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity as a Sr. Treasury Analyst/Treasury Analyst - Lead at our Headquarters located in Glen Allen, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under minimal supervision, provides analytic support to the Corporate Finance department by maintaining the Treasury database of financing information, and producing reports to aid in monitoring and ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and covenants.
• Gathers data and other information for evaluation and assessment of potential financial products and services.
• Plays a lead role in long-term debt issuances.
• Produces internal, periodic reports on financial transactions and compliance.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
• Performs complex financial analysis and exhibits mastery of the economic aspects of capital markets alternatives.
• Makes independent decisions.
• Identifies and implements better work alternatives and business processes.
• Supports the Credit Risk Management team through analysis of collateral needs for new and existing customers, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 6 years' related experience. Knowledge and understanding of Accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.

Education
Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)

Preferred Degree
Business, Economics, or Finance
