About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a senior engineer who can build and maintain both the front-end and back-end of websites and applications. They're involved in the entire product development cycle, from design to deployment, and maintenance.

In this role, you will:
  • Write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end systems
  • Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into user interfaces
  • Optimize web design for mobile responsiveness
  • Implement new features and fix bugs in existing code
  • Test and debug their own code developments
  • Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
  • Work with the development team to ensure system consistency
  • Work closely with designers, product teams, and other developers
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understand emerging technologies and best practices
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Python experience
  • 2+ years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2 years of User Interface experience
  • Proficient in implementing back-end functionality using Python
  • Ability to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions.
  • Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions.
  • Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages.
  • Experience preparing documentation and reports.
  • Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates.
  • Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work on-site at posted location, hybrid is currently available

  • New York City-Pay Range: $115,900-$206,100
  • San Francisco - Pay Range: $115,900-$206,100
