Job Description:

The Stanford Division of General Surgery, section of Surgical Oncology has a 1-year opening from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026 for a board certified/eligible physician who seeks focused training in endocrine surgery. This position will involve responsibilities corresponding to the level of a fellow, assisting and participating in patient care with four high-volume endocrine surgeons for one academic year. This will include participation in thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and neuroendocrine pancreas/GI operations, weekly clinic exposure to the evaluation and management of endocrine surgical disorders, in addition to experience with skills necessary for independent endocrine surgery practice, including FNA, head and neck ultrasound, thyroid RFA, and vocal cord assessment. Depending on the candidate's interests and experience, focused mentorship and participation in endocrine surgery research and/or independent acute care surgery call coverage can be included. Malpractice and health insurance will be provided in addition to salary.

Salary:

Clinical Instructor $145,000 - $155,000


This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
