About the Job
As the initial contact for customers, vendors and visitors to the Orem office, this role will provide assistance in the area of sales and service to customers, vendors and visitors when they come to the location.
Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities
Knowledgeable of all Geneva Pipe products and can provide guidance for customers inquires
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally
Have an understanding of the yard layout
Ability to accurately complete Pick and Delivery tickets
Proficient in accurately creating Invoice tickets for purchases
Capability of using Paypal and running Credit Cards to process payments
Ability to create Purchase Orders
Proficient and timely in the process for completing product returns from customers
Ability to direct incoming vendor deliveries
Understanding of where to direct visitors
Knowledge of Sales Team members and contractors
Basic understanding of production capability of each plant
Track and maintain acceptable levels of inventory of stock resale items, which include but not limited to: gaskets, boots, snouts, fabric, steps, grout, cast iron, mastic, as needed for Sales
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
To perform the duties and responsibilities of this position successfully, individuals must:
Basic math skills: Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and percentages
Possess the ability to effectively work with varying personality styles and maintain a sense of humor.
Able to properly use phone system and route calls as needed
Must be agile and able to change directions easily and professionally.
Intermediate skills working with computers and software packages such as, Outlook, Word, Excel.
Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with clarity and professionalism.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
Education/Experience
HS degree or GED
Experience in precast industry and excavation would be helpful, but not mandatory
