Position Summary
Assists the Project Manager in the execution of DLA Richmond inventory supply management operations. Provides training and supervision of associates & program participants at the DLA Richmond contract site.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Assists the Project Manager by ensuring that all daily and periodic tasks are completed as scheduled, according to specified quality standards and within budget limits.
2. Inspects completed purchase order requisitions, receiving reports and P Card transactions. Ensures all DLA Richmond and Goodwill standards are met.
3. Assists with inventory control procedures including but not limited to: maintaining adequate stock levels, loss prevention, damages, spot-checks, reconciling physical inventories and preparing inventory reports.
4. Assists in developing standards of performance for associates.
5. Trains program participants/associates in orientation to building, proper work techniques, and schedules, usage and conversation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices.
6. Ensures completion of all necessary paperwork, whether required by DLA Richmond or Goodwill, to include, but not limited to: quality control reports, task completing reports, and supply inventory.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication on a government background investigation prior to start date. May be required to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance and sex offender check.
• Ability to operate PC and databases required. Experience with current Microsoft Office systems preferred.

Safety Statement

This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions
• The associate is required to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
• The associate must be available to work on call hours as scheduled.
