What you will enjoy doing*


  • In this role, you will provide information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the proposal and project teams with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering

  • Further, you will be in charge to perform a thorough review of customer's inquiry and / or request for process design information

  • Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and Heat and Material Balances (H&MB's) is part of this role and the design to determine if the process design is competitive

  • Calculate, Utility, and Product Value Estimates and combined this with the Capital estimate (from others) to prepare a Project Evaluation to allow determination of the viability of the project is part of your tasks

  • You will develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets

  • Prepare material selection designation (diagram) for plant requirements, as well as develop innovative ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive with proposals is required

  • Further, you will calculate plant recoveries and utility requirements and suggest, guarantee Levels to Management and develop Line Sizes and Definition of Line Sizes

  • In addition you will perform Hydraulic Calculations and periodically participate in HAZOP studies

  • Views and comment on packaged equipment P&ID's including the vendor logic diagrams and cause & effect charts suits your profile

  • You will assist in Plant start-up activities, as required and direct performance testing of the plant and deliver results report


What makes you great


  • You have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering

  • Further, you have strong working knowledge of one or more process simulators such as Unisa and/or HYSYS, and amine treating simulators ProMax or ProTreat

  • Competency in HTRI for rating Plate fin, Shell & Tube and Air-cooled Exchangers, in Flare net Analyzer and in using Vendor software for Tay hydraulics and compressor ratings is required

  • Moreover, you have an intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software and Windows Operating system and strong Excel skill

  • You are able to work with minimal supervision, can prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Further you are detail orientated, creative and innovative

  • Effective analytical and problems solving skills suit your profile

  • Additionally, you have the ability to communicate effectively process concepts to both in-house clients and Linde Process

  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and other company and discipline specific software applications

  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the Company is required, as well as to effectively communicate process concepts to both in-house clients and external customers

  • Knowledge of material balance, process engineering, process controls, plan hydraulics and process safety concepts is required

Salary Pay Range: 65,000 USD -90,000USD
