Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an IT Solution Architect. In this role, the IT Solution Architect will be responsible for creating the technical vision for a solution that integrates multiple databases into a single output. They will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, working closely with the programming team to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
Understand and align with business goals, objectives, and solution requirements
Design and develop software solutions, balancing alternatives to meet business needs
Create data architectures that support data analytics, modeling, and engineering
Apply data analysis techniques such as statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics to extract insights
Validate IT solutions against business requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business processes
Plan, budget, and align IT architecture with business objectives
Support unit and integration testing, document solutions, and maintain existing architecture
Integrate IT security guidelines within solutions
Ensuring systems are compliant with relevant security guidelines and policies
REQUIREMENTS:
8-10 years of experience in solution architecture, data analytics, or a related field
Strong background in data architecture, software design, and IT solutions development
Proven ability to apply advanced problem-solving and improve existing processes
Ability to work in a project-driven environment, balancing multiple objectives
Experience guiding both colleagues and customers with functional advice and best practices
Strong understanding of software design and development principles
Proficiency in designing data architectures and supporting data analytics
Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and integration technologies
Ability to analyze complex business problems and design scalable, efficient technical solutions
Strong skills in troubleshooting, critical thinking, and root-cause analysis
Experience with data modeling, data stewardship, and using techniques such as predictive analytics and data mining
Knowledge of business intelligence tools and creating data-driven insights
Competence in overseeing projects, including planning, budgeting, and aligning processes with business needs
Understanding of testing methodologies and ensuring solutions meet functional requirements
Knowledge of IT security standards and their integration into technical architectures
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and present technical solutions
Leadership experience, especially in guiding teams or mentoring peers
Deep understanding of the specific industry's requirements, challenges, and technologies
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in data modeling, predictive analytics, and data stewardship
Familiarity with IT security practices and architecture validation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
