Our Slalom Los Angeles office is currently seeking a talented Senior Sales Director to drive business results by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business within the media & communications, retail, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or related industries. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to both our internal teams and our client teams, building and executing customized business plans and predictable sales engagement processes.



What You'll Do


  • Lead, manage, and coach an experienced sales team (sales associate, sr. sales associate, sales executive, sr. sales executive, sales director) to achieve a yearly sales target of $110m+.

  • Achieve an individual sales target of $1m+ quarterly / $4m+ annually.

  • Collaborate with practice leaders to strategically pursue new opportunities on a diverse collection of targeted accounts.

  • Drive demand generation activities including targeted marketing campaigns, lead generation programs, and account-based marketing initiatives to generate qualified leads and opportunities.

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with key technology vendors, industry associations, and other ecosystem players to enhance Slalom's market presence and leverage complementary offerings.

  • Bring industry knowledge and relationships from media & communications, retail, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or related industries.

  • Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new Master Service Agreements (MSA's).

  • Lead the sales and proposal process, including pricing and resourcing.

  • Manage commercial negotiations of the opportunities in the pipeline.

  • Primary ownership of relationships with our most senior customer executives.

  • Grow and own some strategic existing and new accounts in partnership with industry and capability experts.

  • Partner with marketing to drive key strategic market events to elevate our brand

  • Responsible for a client or set of client's pipeline creation and forecasting.

  • Leverage Slalom sales platforms to drive a forecast and collaborate with Account and Practice leaders.

  • Minimal travel expectations as your focus will be within Los Angeles and the surrounding market.


What You'll Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in solution sales and account management within the consulting, professional services, or technology sectors, with a strong background in consultative, solution-based selling.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, driving significant revenue growth for large, global companies across key technology partners (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, and Tableau).

  • Skilled at leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performance sales teams through complex technology sales cycles, encompassing budgeting, procurement, negotiations, and strategic account planning.

  • Extensive experience building relationships with CXOs and decision-makers, coupled with strong people management and team-building skills.

  • Passionate about understanding client needs, delivering innovative, value-driven solutions, and surpassing customer expectations through exceptional client experiences.

  • Adept at 1:1 procurement negotiation, securing favorable outcomes, and leveraging industry insights to drive strategic sales growth.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent prioritization, negotiation abilities, and proficiency in budget and project management.

  • Experience in consulting or professional services, with a proven track record of exceeding multimillion-dollar sales targets and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Compensation and Benefits


Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $206,000 to $329,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for a quarterly and an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
