The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to Senior Management, departments, and/or Regional offices within the company.


 


 Responsibilities:



  • Schedules meetings and luncheons, including obtaining meeting space, notifying attendees, scheduling catering, etc.

  • Handles travel arrangements, including scheduling flights, hotels, car rentals and providing itinerary for reference

  • Assists in the preparation of management presentations utilizing PowerPoint, Word, Excel and the necessary applications

  • Maintains files so that information is readily available

  • Serves as a contact/resource to provide information pertaining to various special events and employee-owner related functions

  • Assists with back-up for company switch-board/receptionist function

  • Serves in an “as needed” capacity as back-up to other departments

  • Helps in the preparation of reports, invoice processing and/or weekly time entry


 


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree and/or certification a plus

  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong word processing and Excel skills; ability to prepare spreadsheets, graphs and charts, and presentation materials

  • An aptitude for learning new software applications

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Professional demeanor
