Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Designer, in Burbank, CA.
As a Mechanical Designer you will:
Design 3D models and drawings using Catia V5
The ideal candidate will have:

CatiaV5 expert level experience
- Must have experience creating complex designs as well as sub-assembly, and top assembly drawings.
- Ability to update engineering orders and make changes to existing drawings.
- Must have experience creating assemblies and drawings for test procedures.
- Knowledge of MBD (Model Based Definition) and its applications in the aerospace engineering environment and documentation will help a designer be successful in this role.
- Experience performing weight calculations (hand or Catia V5).
- Strong understanding of GD&T practices per ASME and ANSI standards.
- Develop assembly BOMs.
This is a contingent to hire opportunity.
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50/ per hour
