Schedule: M-F / 8AM-5PM with flexibility for OT
Salary: $20-32/Hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity. Position Summary: We are seeking a Forklift Mechanic to work at our shop. When customers bring their forklifts for repair, you will perform the necessary maintenance and repairs in-house. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electric and propane industrial equipment, such as forklifts. What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 1 year of experience and/or training in forklift or industrial equipment maintenance, with a focus on electrical maintenance.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
What You'll Do:
Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and industrial equipment.
Document all work performed, including detailed repair descriptions and hour meter readings.
Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues, provide repair estimates, and explain completed work.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Inspect and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on equipment.
