Now hiring for a Quality Control Inspector in the City of Gardena!
As a Quality Control Inspector you will:
Perform a variety of tasks to maintain configuration management control of customer documents and internal documents that support building a customers product; and coordinate the processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
Prepare internal engineering change notices (ECN) that correspond to the customer's ECO
ECO's include: a) Test release and changes b) Part Number updates and changes c) Drawing Note changes
Maintain and update customer files to include: vendor data sheets, procedures, Gerber files, schematics and revision control of customer documents
Upload and maintain bill of material (BOM's) and issue internal part numbers for internal use by Purchasing
Responsible for compiling and scanning work order completion packages (drawings, project documents, Travelers, ECN's and manufacturing documents)
Responsible for ensuring documents are filed correctly on the server in their respective folders to ensure access of accurate documents, and maintain per established procedures
Maintain database for approved vendor list (AVL), item master upload for the material requirements planning (MRP) system, reporting of SPC data, assist Quality Assurance team
Maintain ECN logs

This is a Full Time Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) data package in accordance with AS9102 requirement.
Summarize SPC data and analyze for trends to support continuous improvement
MS Office experience needed
Archive production assembly records
Coordinates customer, supplier survey with process owners.
Help manage Internal Quality audits schedule and perform audits with auditing team
Weekly updates of DMR, CAR, RMA reports
Monitoring and follow up on actions of CAR status for completion by due dates
General maintenance of QC records including floor data Ex:... ESD checklists, daily FOD checklist.
Verify that all assembly drawings used in production match the revision identified on the Traveler and operators understand the notes
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate:$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
